Structured Cabling & Networking in Franklin Township, NJ

{hero_cap}Structured cabling for Franklin Township (Somerset), NJ businesses and homes
Between the Davidson Avenue office parks, the Route 27 corridor and the warehouses near Route 287, Franklin has more commercial cabling work than any other town we serve — Cat6/Cat6A drops, rack and patch-panel build-outs, Wi-Fi for open offices, and cabling for cameras and access control. On the residential side, the 55+ communities and the newer developments off Easton Avenue mostly need Wi-Fi that reaches every room. Franklin Township runs old and new together — around 58 percent pre-1970 against 14 percent since 1990 — so we survey the route before quoting rather than pricing off a floor plan. We label every drop at both ends and leave a network closet the next technician can actually read.
- Office build-outs: labeled drops, certified test results, and a rack you can actually service.
- Warehouses: long runs, fiber where copper won't reach, access points rated for high ceilings.
- Homes: wired backbone plus ceiling access points — no more dead spots.
Everything, start to finish.
Same crew, same clean work as every other town we cover — planned before anything goes on a wall, labeled, tested, and walked through with you before we leave. Read the full cabling & wi-fi page →
Cat6 and Cat6A cabling
Neatly run, labeled and tested wired drops for data, cameras, access points and screens — the clean backbone that keeps everything fast and easy to trace later.
Business-grade Wi-Fi
Access points placed and configured for your actual floor plan, not a generic layout. No dead zones in the office, warehouse or home you actually have.
Racks, switches and firewalls
Tidy equipment racks, managed switches, routers and firewall configuration — a secure network core that is simple to service and easy to expand.
Low-voltage infrastructure cabling
Beyond data, we run the low-voltage cabling that supports security systems, intercoms and building automation through the same organized plan.

What is the difference between structured cabling and regular network cabling?
Structured cabling follows a standardized design across the whole building, while regular network cabling is wired device by device with no overall plan. Structured systems are easier to troubleshoot, label and expand later.
Do you install structured cabling for both homes and businesses?
Yes. We install structured cabling systems for NJ homes, offices and commercial buildings, including Cat6/Cat6A data cabling, business Wi-Fi, and full rack and switch set-ups.
How long does a structured cabling installation take?
A single home or small office typically takes 1 to 3 days. Larger commercial cabling systems are scoped individually after a walkthrough, since cable paths, ceiling type and device count all affect the timeline.
Can you upgrade my existing network cabling instead of replacing everything?
In most cases, yes. We can integrate existing cabling and hardware into a new structured cabling network rather than tearing everything out, which keeps costs down.
