Orphaned systems — we take them over
The most common Control4 call we get: the system works, but the dealer who installed it has gone quiet or gone out of business. We take ownership of the project, get you current, and document it.
Works with what you already own
Control4 drives Lutron lighting, Sonos, most cameras and door locks, and your existing receivers and displays in most cases. We will tell you what integrates and what is worth replacing before you spend.

My Control4 dealer disappeared. Can you take the system over?
Yes, and it is one of the most common calls we get. We take on the project, get the system current, fix what was never finished, and document it so the next person — including you — is not guessing.
Does Control4 need a subscription?
The system itself runs without one. Remote access from outside the house uses Control4’s 4Sight service, which is a yearly fee. Everything inside the house keeps working either way, and we will tell you plainly whether you need it.
Control4 or just phone apps?
If two or three devices cover it, apps are fine and we will say so. Control4 earns its place when lighting, shades, AV and climate need to act together, when guests have to use it without instruction, and when you want one thing to blame instead of six.
Can we start small and add later?
Yes. A controller and one or two rooms is a normal starting point. We size the controller and the network for where you might go, so adding a room later is a visit rather than a rebuild.
