Savant is the platform we work with most. It suits homes where the audio and video are the point of the project, and where the interface has to be good enough that guests and family use it without a lesson. The hardware is rarely what decides whether you are happy in two years. Programming that matches how the house is lived in, and a dealer who answers the phone, is what decides it.

Lighting and shades on the same system
Savant lighting keypads and motorised shades responding together, so one press sets a room rather than adjusting four things. Scenes tuned in the room with you, at the times of day you actually use them.
Climate, cameras and entry in one app
Thermostats, camera views and door locks in the same place as the music and the lights. One app your family will actually use, instead of six that each do a quarter of the job.

If your system works but the dealer stopped answering, we can adopt it. We get the system current, finish what was left unfinished, document it, and hand you the logins.

Savant or Control4 — which should I choose?
We install both, so we have no reason to push one. Savant tends to suit homes where audio and video are the centre of the project and the interface matters. Control4 has a wider catalogue of third-party drivers. The honest answer usually comes from what is already in the house and what you care about most, which is a walkthrough conversation rather than a spec sheet.
Can you take over a Savant system somebody else installed?
Yes. It is a common call. We adopt the system, bring it current, finish whatever was left unfinished, document it, and make sure the accounts are in your name.
Does Savant need a subscription?
The system runs without one. Some remote and cloud features carry a fee depending on the configuration, and we will tell you plainly which apply to your setup before you buy anything.
Can we start with one area and grow?
Yes, and it is often the sensible order. A media room or whole-home audio first, lighting and shades later. We size the host and the network for where you might go, so the next phase is a visit rather than a rebuild.
